Important Dates this Week:  
  Tuesday, April 24th - TN Scholars Picnic, 10am - 2pm, Laurel Run Park
  Friday, April 27th - TN Scholars Picnic rain date

  • Graduation Practice: Friday, May 18th at 1:00 PM at J. Fred Johnson Stadium. All graduates must attend. Graduation: Graduation Ceremony starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 19th at J. Fred Johnson Stadium. Graduates need to arrive at 9:00 AM.

  • New attendance policy effective January 2007: An absence not supported by a written note or phone call from a parent/guardian within 3 school days will be considered an unexcused absence.
  • Dobyns-Bennett High School is a member of the Successful Practices Network, sponsored by the International Center for Leadership in Education. The not-for-profit Successful Practices Network is an alliance of more than 600 schools (K-12) that have made a true commitment to continuous school improvement. Members have access to a broad range of expertise as well as best practices from other schools dedicated to meeting the challenges of helping every child succeed.
